Proposed Amendments to Border Inspection Regulation for Foods

The proposed amendment seeks to:

1.    Exclude livestock products among items subject to exemption from import declaration for food used at exhibition;

2.    Adjust of the time to confirm by the commissioner of each regional ministry of Food and Drug Safety or the head of regional local government if the conditionally declared imported food products were warehoused; and Adjust of the scope of foods that a Minister of Food and Drug Safety recognizes as safe among foods, etc. that have no inadequate history after inspection.
