Draft Commission Directive amending Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the environmental risk assessment of genetically modified organisms (4 pages + 15 pages of annex, in English)

This draft Directive updates certain annexes to Directive2001/18/EC as regards the environmental risk assessment of GMOs, in order to adaptthem to technical progress and in the light of the Guidance documents of the EuropeanFood safety Authority concerning the environmental risk assessment of geneticallymodified plants. The list of information that notifiers must provide underDirective 2001/18/EC is also updated accordingly.
