The notified Resolution formalizes the method for the determination, by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultraviolet–visible (UV/Vis) detection, of non-permitted colouring matter in wine.
Products in which the presence of non-permitted colourants is detected will be considered to be "Not genuine - Adulterated".
