The notified text provides for the entry into force of the mandatory certification scheme in respect of the performance and energy efficiency labelling of household electrical appliances (Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Mining (SICyM) Resolution No. 319/1999, repealed by Secretariat of Competition and Consumer Protection (SDCyC) Resolution No. 225/2000), in particular household microwave ovens.
