Construction and equipment of two and three-wheel vehicles, quadricycles, their trailers and light electric vehicles

This regulation amends the Regulation of the Finnish Transport Safety Agency of 27 June 2016 on the construction and equipment of two and three-wheel vehicles, quadricycles, their trailers and light electric vehicles (TRAFI/20118/03.04.03.00/2016). The regulation is made more restrictive and clearer by removing Annexes 1 and 2 thereto, since the latter have become obsolete or unnecessary. National exemptions to the requirements for category L vehicles and the way they are laid out in the current Annex 3 (Annex 1 to the new regulation) are streamlined. In addition, requirements vis-à-vis the use of a taxi light and a taximeter for three-wheel vehicles, light quadricycles or heavy quadricycles used to provide taxi services are added.
