Passenger cars, small buses and light commercial vehicles

Under the draft amending the Road Traffic Ordinance, existing provisions regarding low-emission zones are supplemented with two new low-emission zones that will apply to passenger cars, light buses and light commercial vehicles. From 1 January 2020, municipalities will have the option to introduce three classes of low-emission zones. In the exemptions under Chapter 11, § 4, additional general exemptions are proposed for vehicles to enter low-emission zones.
