Technical guideline on emergency call connections, Edition 2.0, May 2018

The technical guideline regulates the technical details of the basic requirements under § 108 of the Telecommunications Act [Telekommunikationsgesetz – TKG], which are to be met by the telephone service providers and network operators participating in the provision of publicly available telephone services when making emergency call options available and establishing emergency call connections under the standardised European emergency number 112 and the additional national emergency numbers laid down in the Ordinance on emergency call connections [Verordnung über Notrufverbindungen – NotrufV].
