Technical Specification - Management System for Quality Assurance of Pork. Specification on the rearing of pigs

This technical specification lays down requirements for the rearing of pigs and allows the pig farm to design its processes to ensure that these requirements are implemented.

This standard can be used by all holdings wishing to:

a) put in place, implement and maintain particular specifications to document the safety and quality of their pig rearing processes;

b) ensure that their pig rearing process complies with the requirements that have been laid down;

c) demonstrate such compliance to interested parties;

d) request certification for the rearing of pigs;

e) join the Management System for Quality Assurance of Pork.
