Originality checks of road vehicles

Implementing Decree of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic laying down the details on originality checks

This draft implementing decree lays down the details on originality checks:

a) details of the proposal for delegating the performance of the technical service of originality checks and details of certain activities involved in the technical service of originality checks (verification of compliance with the conditions for performing originality checks, verification of suitability of the equipment used for said checks, management of data on vehicle operating records and data from the register of certificates of conformity, management of data on the results of originality checks, activities relating to forms, control stickers and stamps, management of the national originality check information system),

b) details of the approval of suitability of equipment, sample copies of the documents and control stickers, and the national originality check information system,

c) details of the authorisation to perform originality checks (the premises and technical equipment of originality check points, minimum quality management requirements, forms, control stickers and stamps used in relation to originality checks),

d) details of originality check technicians (the method and scope of basic training and further training courses, and professional competence examination),

e) details of originality checks (classification of originality check points, the scope of originality checks, cases when said checks are not performed, documents presented for originality checks, cases when said checks are officially ordered, vehicle assessment and conclusions on roadworthiness, temporary roadworthiness or non-roadworthiness, sample copies and particulars of the documents issued in relation to originality checks, the method of indicating the result of the originality check in the documents).
