Adoption of seventy (70) Greek Technical Specifications (GTS), of mandatory application to all Public Works and Design

ELOT TS 1501-01-03-00-00 Scaffolding

The present specification sets out the minimum requirements regarding the formation and construction of scaffolding used in construction works.

“Scaffolding” means any temporary construction which is used:

• to support other constructions until these acquire enough load-bearing capacity so as to bear the weight and loads foreseen after the removal of the scaffold;

• to reinforce constructions or parts thereof in order for them to bear additional loads that may be imposed during maintenance, reinforcement, restoring exterior appearance, conversion or demolition works.
