2018 amendments to the Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide - 2013 edition

The Building Regulations 2010 provide for the health, safety, welfare and convenience of those in and around buildings, setting technical and procedural requirements for those carrying out building work. Statutory guidance on ways of meeting the functional requirements of these regulations are provided in Approved Documents. Further specific guidance is also provided in compliance guides for certain construction works.

This amendment of the Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide sets out improved standards for controls when oil-fired boilers are installed in existing dwellings, and sets out improved efficiency and controls standards when gas-fired boilers are installed in existing dwellings. It sets out requirements for additional energy efficiency measures when installing a gas-fired combination boiler in an existing dwelling.
