BAW Code of Practice – Use of hydraulically bound materials for grouting armourstone on waterways, 2017 edition

This code of practice applies to hydraulically bound materials used for the partial or full grouting of armourstone above water and under water for bank and bed protection, as well as of other structures on inland waterways (e.g. spur dykes, jetties).

It contains general instructions on planning, tendering and construction, as well as requirements for the grouting material, the application of the grouting material and the finished grouted revetment. It also includes provisions on quality assurance and sets out how to conduct the basic tests.
