BAW Technical bulletin on the application of hydraulically and bitumen-bound materials for grouting armour stones on waterways (MAV), 2017 edition

This technical bulletin applies to hydraulically and bitumen-bound materials used in the partial or complete grouting of armour stones above water and under water for embankment and bed protection as well as other structural facilities on inland waterways (e.g. spur dykes, stagings).

It contains general instructions on planning, tender specifications and construction work, as well as requirements on the grouting material, emplacement of the grouting material and the finished grouted rip-rap. It also contains quality assurance and the conducting of the basic inspection.
