Speed-limiting devices and their inspection and installation in heavy-duty road vehicles.

The regulations contain detailed rules concerning the requirements for accreditation – in accordance with the original wording of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products and repealing Regulation (EEC) No 339/93, and the Act (2011:791) on accreditation and technical control – as an accredited body for speed-limiting devices, as well as how inspections of speed-limiting devices shall be carried out and how said devices shall be sealed.
