Swedish Transport Agency regulations and general advice (TSFS 2017:XX) concerning roadworthiness tests

The statutes contain regulations concerning periodic roadworthiness tests for vehicles. The new statute mainly transposes Directive 2014/45/EU into existing regulations concerning periodic roadworthiness tests. Sweden has already implemented rules for periodic inspections for all types of vehicles. Given that the Directive governs a minimum level, it means that even before the Directive was introduced, Sweden had a regulation going beyond that governed under the Directive.
