The draft regulations contain provisions on exemptions from the licence requirement for radio transmitters (terminals) in terrestrial mobile communications systems in the frequency bands 703-733 MHz and 832-862 MHz, along with conditions of use for fixed directional antennae in these frequency bands.The draft regulations principally implement binding and harmonising EU legal acts. Comprehensive technical parameters are also provided for certain radio use. A regulation on mutual recognition is therefore unnecessary.
